ArcheAge & ArcheAge Unchained Transfers To Kakao On December 2, Land Rush And Server Details Revealed
Kakao Games will officially be taking over publishing responsibilities for ArcheAge and ArcheAge Unchained in just a few days and the studio is giving players time to prepare for the transfer by outlining several important dates in the process, starting with the transfer date.
Gamigo’s service will end on December 1st and Kakao Games will be assuming control of live service on December 2nd. For those who have yet to transfer your characters to Kakao, now would probably be a good time to do so. The new 100GB client is now available for pre-download on the new site for those who want to get that out of the way.
Kakao has also released the official list of EU and NA server names, which includes one new server for each region for both ArcheAge and ArcheAge Unchained. The studio also outlined the entrance times and dates for various instances along with the start time and date for the Land Rush.
Land Rush will start at 1pm PST on December 11th for NA servers and will not be staggered. This means that it will kick off simultaneously in East and West Auroria. In addition, housing areas will not be put into Peace during the Land Rush so prepare to fight for your chosen plots. The team will also be punishing anyone caught using land hacks during the rush.
“We will be monitoring servers closely,” warns Kakao. “Anyone who abuses an exploit or uses a ‘land hack’ will find their house swiftly demolished, and their account will receive a punishment determined by the Customer Service team.”
