Kakao Games continues its fight against illicit activities in ArcheAge and ArcheAge Unchained with another ban wave. The studio reports that they’ve permanently banned another 273 accounts and imposed a week-long suspension on 282 more for multiple account exploits, speedhacking, and real money trading.

“We are taking a tough stance on exploitation and wish to remind you that if something feels unintended, it’s safer not to get involved if you wish to protect your account,” warned Kakao.

The studio has also blocked several trading functions for free trial accounts and limited others to prevent them from beings used as couriers to transfer items between accounts. Blocked functions include Marketplace gifting, character to character trading, mail sending, guild resignation, Auction House purchases and sales, housing-related sales and purchases, and crafting requests. House storage for free trial accounts will also have permissions set to “Private” to prevent other players and accounts from accessing the storage even when it’s been blocked.

Meanwhile, the Kakao has rolled out a small patch today that reduces the requirements for Exile, reduces the level requirement to access housing storage, and kicks off the Zodiac festival. The full patch notes can be found on the ArcheAge official site.
