ArcheAge's 3.1: Beginning Update Will Take It Back To Its Beginnings

With the fourth anniversary of ArcheAge on the horizon, XLGames is planning a major update to the sandbox MMORPG. Dubbed the "Beginning" update, ArcheAge 3.1 will take the game back to its beginnings. Several balance patches have already been introduced, but the Beginning update will bring about even more change.

There are four major goals that XLGames is trying to achieve with the Beginning update. They are as follows.

(1) We give new high goal such as character growth, item growth.

(2) We intend to further promote maritime trade.

(3) We have a balance patch to find contacts between our long-time successors and new heirs.

(4) We will improve various convenience.

In going with these goals, the update will introduce new character advancement systems, changes to the way armor reinforcement works, new quality of life features, and a new zone called "Whale Song." The team is also planning to implement features that promote maritime trade.
