Studio Wildcard Reveals New ARK 2 Concept Art And Ragnarok Switch Release Date

It’s been a while since we last heard from Studio Wildcard and its upcoming ARK: Survival Evolved sequel. Don’t worry though as ARK 2 is still actively in development as evidenced by the new dinosaur concept art revealed in the studio’s latest Community Crunch newsletter.

The new concept art confirms that the stegosaurus and the brachiosaurus will join the lineup of the many dinos that players will encounter in the upcoming sandbox survival MMO. The team describes the stegosaurus as “a noble guardian from a foregone epoch” while the brachiosaurus is described as an “aloof behemoth.”

While the latest newsletter doesn’t offer any other details about ARK 2, it does ease any concerns about the game’s development status. It also confirms the release of the Ragnarok expansion map in the Nintendo Switch version of ARK: Survival Evolved in February and the introduction of locally hosted servers on the portable console, among other things.
