Since Studio Wildcard first announced ARK 2 at The Game Awards 2020 information about the ARK: Survival Evolved sequel has been few and far between. But, this being the week of new game trailers and announcements, we were hoping to get one for ARK 2 as well and we weren’t disappointed.

The new trailer offers a quick look at the creatures inhabiting the world of Arat as well as Vin Diesel as Santiago and her daughter Meeka, voiced by Moana’s Auli’i Cravalho. There’s still no glimpse of actual gameplay but the trailer does herald a 2023 launch for the dino-taming survival MMORPG.

The ARK 2 Steam page is also live with more information about the upcoming game touting a fully-redesigned experience with an epic story, cross-platform modding, advanced movement mechanics, Souls-like melee combat, module-based crafting, dynamic world events, a sensory-based AI for creatures, and more.

“Suddenly awakened on a strange primal world filled with dinosaurs and humans struggling for dominance; you must piece together the history of how you arrived there, team-up with legendary heroes, and confront powerful dark forces seeking to control the fate of all life. Saddle up, and join the definitive next-generation survival experience with ARK 2!”
