ARK: Survival Ascended Opens Temporary Servers To Meet Scorched Earth Demand
Things are heating up in ARK: Survival Ascended as players descend on the survival sandbox to blaze trails through its newly opened Scorched Earth map. In fact, the demand is so great that Studio Wildcard has decided to open temporary servers in hopes of accommodating everyone.
Players on the said servers are advised to transfer their characters, items, and creatures to the regular servers before 10 a.m. PST on June 1st or risk losing them, although the team doesn’t say whether they’ll get to keep any structures they build on the temporary servers. Probably not.
In other ARK: Survival Ascended news, Studio Wildcard has confirmed the arrival of premium mods on consoles by the end of the month, promising new content and added customizability for PlayStation and Xbox users. “Modding has always been a huge part of what makes ARK so awesome, and that community creativity has kept the game fresh for years,” said the devs. “Between new worlds like Svartalfheim Premium and new creatures like Additions Ascended: Anomalocaris, there is plenty of amazing content to dive into.”
