ARK: The Animated Series came out of nowhere and premiered on Paramount+ earlier this week to the surprise of ARK: Survival Ascended and Survival Evolved fans. Its showrunners didn’t spare any expense either, featuring a ludicrous lineup of Hollywood stars that includes Vin Diesel, Russel Crowe, Gerard Butler, and Michelle Yeoh.

“ARK: The Animated Series is a sweeping saga spanning eons of human history,” reads the series’ description. “When 21st century paleontologist Helena Walker (Madeleine Madden) finds herself resurrected on a mysterious primeval island populated by prehistoric beasts, she must learn to survive with new allies from throughout time, while trying to uncover the true nature of their strange new world.”

Studio Wildcard marked the animated adaptation’s debut with the Bob’s ‘Dear Jane’ ARK Animated Series in-game event. Players will be able to unlock exclusive animated costumes from the show by locating Bob’s ‘Dear Jane’ Notes which recounts Bob’s adventures on The Island alongside the events of the animated series. This week’s costumes include Bob, Helena, Dodo, and Scary the Parasaur, with new notes and costumes promised every Tuesday and Thursday until April 11.

The first six episodes of ARK: The Animated Series are now available to stream on Paramount+ for users located in the US and Canada. The show will be premiering globally on April 19.
