Ashes Of Creation Shows Off Gameplay Footage With In-Game UI

Still skeptical about Ashes of Creation? Be skeptical no longer. Intrepid Studios has released a new video that shows off in-game footage with the UI, meaning that, unlike the previous video, it is significantly harder to write off as cinematic non-gameplay footage.

Furthermore, I would like to think that the only reason that you would show off a UI that looks the way that this one does is that it is legitimate footage of the Pre-Alpha UI. Looking at it, it's clear that, while there is gameplay—and it appears that multiplayer functionality is already in, as we can see both a Mage and a Knight-like character in action—the game is still early in development.

The spell effects look rather nice and it is interesting that Mages seem to be able to lift up boulders and crush them in midair. It also seems that at least the Mage can cross large gaps by levitating over them.

You can find the new footage embedded below.
