Atlantica Online Makes The Move To VALOFE On January 11th

You may remember that Nexon America announced last July that, in light of a dwindling playerbase, Atlantica Online would be transferred to VALOFE, the company that is currently publishing Luminary: Rise of the Goonzu in the West. After around seven months of silence, it was announced yesterday that the transfer will occur on January 11th. Those that want to keep their data from the Nexon service will have until then to transfer their accounts.

VALOFE's Atlantica Online Game Operation Team had the following to say about the announcement.

We’ve always had the passion for playing games. We think that this is a great foundation for being able to operate the game for the community we’re about to have. We [VALOFE] envision the acquisition as a ‘homecoming’ and an opportunity to awaken the great potential of this MMO, promising the improvement of game-play for players, veteran and new.
