Pirate survival MMO Atlas will be changing up its PvP scene as it begins Season 12, at least for one particular server.

“This season, we tested several new modes of play on our smaller servers, and we’ve learned a lot from them. However, we know many of you are eager to get back to a larger map layout, and we’re happy to oblige,” said Grapeshot Games.

Starting tomorrow, March 15th, the Cobra’s Strike PvP server will return to the old 9x9 map size while the Whale’s Solitude PvE server will retain its original 6x6 map but will have new land claim types introduced to keep things fresh. The console-only Emerald Coast PvP server’s map, however, will be kept at just 3x3.

Season 12 will also mark a completely new beginning as the servers will once again be wiped prior to the start of the new season. Stay tuned for more information about the upcoming season and the official patch notes.
