Avatar: Reckoning Studio Ditches Its Publisher And Preps For Next Closed Beta Test

Avatar: Reckoning developer Archosaur Games has ended its publishing partnership with Tencent subsidiary Level Infinite. Despite the split, development continues full speed on the multiplayer mobile shooter as the studio prepares to begin testing the game in a new region.

Level Infinite first began testing the game back in June 2023 with an Android-exclusive closed beta test in the Philippines that ran until August 2023. Now, the studio is gearing up for another region-locked closed beta test in China later this month. The game itself is expected to launch within the next six months.

Meanwhile, the studio is offering refunds for all premium currency and in-game purchases made during the Philippine CBT. Note that eligible testers will have to manually request a refund using the “Report a Problem” option in their purchase history menu on the Google Play Store. Refund requests will only be accepted until February 12.
