They Shall Not Pass In Battlefield 1's First Expansion

The first expansion for Battlefield 1 will release this March and it's titled They Shall Not Pass: "The hardened veterans of the French army make a stand in a brutal defense of their homeland. Stay tuned – more is to come." The expansion will introduce 4 new maps and the French Army joins the fray.

And BF1 players are getting a new game mode called Frontlines, a mixture of both Rush and Conquest as opposing armies fight for one objective at a time. Once it's captured both teams move to a battle for the next objective point.

They Shall Not Pass also promises new tools to wage The Great War, such as the French super-heavy tank the Char 2C, the largest operational tank ever constructed. Along with the Saint-Chamond, the second French heavy tank of WWI. Players will also inhabit a new class, the Trench Raider: wielding a club and utilizing grenades. And there's a stationary weapon to fire in from afar, the Siege Howitzer.

They Shall Not Pass will release across all platforms sometime in March.
