Yesterday's Battlerite update set the stage with Halloween decorations, added two brand spanking new champions, and made several updates to the game's skill progresion.

Jumong The Beast Hunter is a scary-looking Hanzo you won't get mad at, laying down traps and firing off barrages with an oversized bow.

Then there's the perfect Halloween themed champion: Ruh Kaan the Crypt Warden; he kind of looks like Krampus. With a glowing scythe and a voice in need of a lozenge, Ruh Kaan wields dark powers—outlined in purple—to drag souls into his crypt.

The update also adds a spooky arena: Blackstone Arena, and adds more goodies to the Ultimate Fan Pack: including the Battle Wolf Mount and miscellaneous Halloween items—minus candy corn. If you don't have the Fan Pack and want to feel festive you can purchase Halloween Chests: guaranteed to include on Epic Halloween item.

Patch 0.8 has updated matchmaking to allow multi-queuing and unranked matchmaking. So you can finally experiment with other heroes without yelling, "MY MMR!"

Champion's have also seen some tweaks, which can be seen in full by viewing the patch notes; there's one too many to do justice mentioning here.
