Black Desert Online Adds Artifact Presets And Nerfs World Boss Difficulty

Pearl Abyss has rolled out a big quality-of-life update for Black Desert Online with the goal of making life easier for players both old and new. The update introduces Artifact Presets, tweaks various quests and world bosses, and makes more cutscenes skippable.
As the name suggests, the Artifact Preset feature will allow players to edit, equip, manage, and save Artifact loadouts right from the Artifact inventory. Players will be able to do this for multiple characters at a time since the Artifact inventory is shared between all characters in the Family.
Cutscenes in the Mountain of Eternal Winter questline are now skippable upon completing the main story quests once. Cutscenes will also be skippable on another character as long as they’ve completed the [Everfrost] Journey’s End quest from the Black Spirit. The team has also increased the Contribution EXP awarded by nearly hundreds of quests in Mountain of Eternal Winter and O’dyllita. The overall difficulty of guild fishing missions has also been reduced by changing the objectives from catching a specific fish to simply catching one from a specific grade or tier.
On the subject of difficulty, several of the stronger world bosses, including Bloodstorm Nouver, Nightmarish Kzarka, Stormbringer Karanda, and Thundercloud Kutum, have had their attack patterns adjusted and are now easier to defeat. The range and damage dealt by hard-to-avoid and one-hit-kill attacks have also been reduced and now have attack indicators to allow players to react accordingly. Some of their more negligible attacks, however, have had their damage slightly increased to balance things out.
The Drakania class has also been tweaked to slightly reduce the damage she receives during PvP and increase her PvP damage against the Guardian class.
A detailed rundown of the changes can be found in the full patch notes on the Black Desert Online official site.
