Black Desert Online Kicks Off Arena Of Solare Season 1 And Multiple Events
Black Desert Online has kicked off its first official season of its Arena of Solare 3v3 PvP instance. Over the past few weeks, players were given the chance to try out the new arena gear, placement match system, and the newly-added battlefields in the pre-season. Now that Season 1 is live, ranked matches will now be recorded and PvP enthusiasts can now earn exclusive title and rewards.
“Adventurers who achieve a high score by performing well in matches and through team ranked matches will receive the honorary "Solare Knight" Outfit and Title as well as a reward box of high value,” explained Pearl Abyss. “Additionally, Adventurers who achieve the highest rank for each class will be showcased in the Battle Arena to show off their pride.”
Season 1 will run from now until February 28th with ranked matches only available at specific times of the day. The practice mode, however, will be available at any time so you can practice with your friends of guildmates while waiting for ranked matches to open.
The Season 1 update also introduces improved character movement and animations for several classes, various class balance adjustments with emphasis on the Drakania class, and new Shakatu’s Seals rewards. Node Wars mechanics will also be reverted back to the old rules when the pre-season kicks off on January 8th.
Pearl Abyss is also currently running a pet photo contest that asks players to take photos or videos of their real-life and in-game pets together. Twenty winners will be chosen to receive a Pet Selection Box that contain a selection of classic in-game pets including the Flondor Duck, Shaggy Dog, Phoniel Squirrel, Otter, Lost Penguin, and Fluffy Rabbit.
There’s also a new login campaign, Woosa leveling rewards, and a Hot Time event running alongside the photo contest. More information on the currently running events can be found on the Black Desert Online official site.
