Pearl Abyss Cracks Down On Cheaters In Black Desert Online

black desert online warrior shieldCheaters never win, or in this case, they get banned. Last week, Pearl Abyss brought the mighty banhammer down on Black Desert Online players found to be using cheats, hacks, and other unauthorized software. Here's the studio's report on the latest banwave.

“First, I want to thank everyone for their patience as we’re working towards our shared goal of a Black Desert Online that is free from cheaters.

With the partial success of the ban wave last week, we’ve been able to streamline our processes to ensure we can gather and analyse data much faster to roll out more effective and more frequent waves.

We’re still a long way from 100% but we’ve been able to catch a considerable number that evaded last weeks wave and we’ll continue to go after not only people that are actively using 3rd party software but also historic cheaters.”

Over a thousand accounts were banned last week. Watch out for more banwaves coming in the future and keep those reports coming.
