Black Desert Online Compensates NA And EU Players For Server Issues
In light of the service interruptions that NA and EU players experienced over the weekend, Black Desert Online is giving players from the affected regions compensation packages in the form of in-game goodies. Kakao Games explains in a recent forum post:
“We want all of our players to enjoy BDO and continue on their adventures without interruption, and we were made aware of difficulties connecting and staying connected during the weekend, specifically on the NA side. This difficulty was due to issues with our carrier and while we strive to provide you with a smooth and enjoyable experience, the issue took longer to resolve than we would have liked.”
Here's the NA package:
- GM Blessing 3 (1h) x5
- Blessing of Kamasylve (1 Day) x1
- Sealed Book of Combat (1 Day) x1
- Extra Life EXP Scroll x5
- Weekend EXP Bonus applied from 3/22 17:00 UTC ~ 3/26 08:00 UTC.
According to the team, the issues mainly affected the NA region but EU players will also be compensated for their troubles, albeit with a smaller package. Here’s what they’ll get:
- Blessing of Kamasylve (1 Day) x1
- Sealed Book of Combat (1 Day) x1
- Weekend EXP Bonus applied from 3/22 17:00 UTC ~ 3/26 08:00 UTC.
The devs went on to apologize for the service interruptions. “We apologize for the interruption and the inconvenience that has caused. We are monitoring the status of the servers around the clock and will continue doing our utmost to provide you with a smoother experience.”
