Black Desert Online: Dragon-Themed Drieghan Expansion Is Now Live

After months of waiting, the Black Desert Online Drieghan expansion has finally rolled out bringing with it a ton of new content. The “meaty expansion” as Pearl Abyss and Kakao Games call it, features more than 300 challenging new quests, new nodes, and a new dragon boss named Garmoth.

“Drieghan, also known as the land of dragons and the ancestral home of dwarves is a huge new mountainous area in Black Desert Online. Adventurers will be able to travel to Duvencrune, the capital of Drieghan which shows a variety of environments of an alpine region. New monster areas such as ‘Sherekhan Necropolis, ‘Blood Wolf Settlement,’ ‘Tshira Ruins’ will be released.”

Fancy a baby dragon pet? Defeat Garmoth, collect Garmoth’s Horn, and exchange them for a Special-Type Crimson Dragon Pet. The update also introduces a brand new craftable weapon the mighty Dragon Slayer.

To celebrate Drieghan’s release, Black Desert Online will be on sale at 50% off on the official site, Steam, and Humble Bundle until November 19th. Part 3 of the Celebrating Millions event is now in full swing, while the special event boss King Targargo returns in time for Thanksgiving celebrations.
