Black Desert Online Debuts Fairy Laila Companion, Reveals Winners Of 2018 Costume Design Contest
Peter Pan had Tinker Bell so why shouldn’t you have your very own tiny fairy companion right? Black Desert Online lets you do just that with the latest patch. To get a Fairy Laila companion, all you have to do is complete the level 52 Fairy Queen Theiah quest line.
“Fairies are peaceful creatures that enjoy the flowers under the grace of Queen Theiah. One day, a golden rift broke open in the fairy world. Unable to resist its own curiosity, Laila bravely embarked on an adventure and tumbled into the world of Black Desert. Players can seek Laila fairies as a companion in their journey by completing a recurring quest. Each can learn different skills that benefit their characters and makes life in Black Desert Online more pleasurable.”
The devs will be running a special event to celebrate Fairy Laila’s debut. From today until May 2nd, players will be rewarded with a Lost Fairy bag for every hour of playtime up to a maximum of 5 hours per day. A number of areas in Ellie’s Mystical Lake will also be set as safe zones as part of the Ellie’s Mystical Lake Festival. A special fishing spot has also been added to the zone where players can fish for Koi. Koi can be sold for 500,000 silver a piece.
The patch also introduces Yona’s Fragment drops, a revised Savage Rift reward system, and a private mode for Arena of Arsha. You'll find the full patch notes here.
