Black Desert Online Kicks Off Spring Celebrations On PC And Debuts Maehwa On Consoles
Black Desert Online is celebrating the coming of Spring with cherry blossom-themed events and the return of the new and improved Shakatu’s Seal event.
“The Shakatu’s Seal event has been renewed. Adventurers can now exchange Shakatu’s Seals from NPC Dellus, Shakatu’s right-hand man. Shining Shakatu’s Seals have also been added, which can be exchanged for exclusive rewards such as Gold Bars, Advice of Valks, and Awakening Weapon Exchange Coupons from NPC Raom. Both NPCs can be found near Shakatu.”
Meanwhile, players will be able to purchase Cherry Blossom Seeds and plant their very own Cherry Blossom Trees until April 1st. Cherry Blossom Trees yield Blooming Scents of Spring which can be exchanged for a variety of reward boxes from designated NPCs until April 8th. Players can also acquire buff-giving items like Fresh Peach Flowers and Vibrant Peach flowers by gathering, fishing, and hunting.
In addition, players can also participate in the “Snapshots with Cherry Blossom” screenshot contest which will run until March 31st. All participants will get a free Merv’s Palette while the top 10 entries will receive a Secret Book of Old Moon and a Blessing of Kamasylve.
In other BDO news, the Maehwa class has just debuted on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 which now features full cross-play support. The Maehwa launches with her Awakening, Rabam, and Absolute Skills. You can watch her in action in the video below.
