Black Desert Online Rolls Out Mountain Of The Eternal Winter On Consoles
Winter has come to the console versions of Black Desert Online as the Mountain of Eternal Winter expansion finally arrives on PlayStation and Xbox. It’s been over two years since the expansion first rolled out on PC, but console users can now make their way up the eponymous snow-capped mountain and the new player hub where they’ll be able to take on new quests, a new boss, and new endgame content to earn new loot and rewards.
“In Mountain of Eternal Winter, players will venture into unknown lands and ascend to the peak of the Mountain of Eternal Winter to vanquish Illezra,” teases Pearl Abyss. “On their journey, Adventurers will explore a new snowy region in search of the Holy Flame Ynix, overcome the mountain’s ancient rites of passages left by its ancient protectors, and assist the people of ‘Eilton’ to unearth forgotten knowledge.”
The Mountain of Eternal Winter also serves as a new starting zone for new characters and players who are just starting out their journeys in the medieval fantasy MMORPG. Meanwhile, the PC version has also received a smaller but no less important patch with various class tweaks, quest updates, and improvements to rewards to UI perks in Conquest and Node Wars.
