Black Desert Online Adds New Currency On PC, Gives The Wizard A Makeover On Console
Both the PC and console versions of Black Desert Online has been updated this week with various gameplay adjustments as Pearl Abyss gears up for an the Adventurer’s Oasis in-person event next month.
For those on PC, you’ll have access to a new currency that drops from the King of the Grass Rhinos, Rawr Rawr, in addition to Wildsparks. The amount of Mythril granted by certain sources has also been increased as well as contribution points gained from weekly quests. You can also now trade Golden Seals for certain items from the Calpheon City Stable Keeper Breesman and receive character statue rewards for winning in the Arena of Solare.
Over on the console version, the latest patch updates the Wizard with a new look, outfits, and animations. Pearl Abyss, however, notes that while they tried to make the new Wizard feel and play like the old one, the new animations might take a bit of getting used to. Combat XP gains from life skilling has also increased and contribution requirements for several nodes have been lowered, in addition to various bartering changes and other gameplay tweaks.
As for the Adventurer’s Oasis, the first leg of the in-person event will be held on April 22nd in Orange County, California, promising a day of eating, drinking, in-game battles, puzzles, and raffles, with exclusive merchandise awaiting all attendees.
