Black Desert Online Plans To Adjust Silver Value And Extraction Gains From Pearl Items

Pearl Abyss is hoping to fix Black Desert Online’s inflated economy by adjusting the market prices for Pearl items as well as the number of Valks Cry and Cron Stones that players get from Pearl Outfit extraction.
“Since our last change to the silver value of Pearl items on August 11, 2021, Black Desert’s in-game economy has been influenced by a variety of factors including updates, events, and our Adventurers’ overall game progression,” said Pearl Abyss. “Thus, we will be again adjusting the silver value of Pearl Items on the Central Market (excludes dyes) and the extractable quantity of Valks’ Cry and Cron Stones from Pearl outfits during the maintenance on May 11, 2022 (Wed) in order to better match the value of Pearl items with the current state of the game.”
The market changes will amount to roughly a 77% increase in Silver value and around a 47% increase for of Valks’ Cry and Cron Stones obtained from extractions as shown in the table below:

The general community, however, feels that the adjustments will bring the game ever closer to being pay-to-win and will benefit whales more than it will improve the overall health of the game’s economy.
You’ll find the full announcement on the Black Desert Online official site. Meanwhile, you can now obtain the Llama as an official in-game pet. Check out the fluffy mount in the video below.
