Black Desert Online To Introduce Cross-Play Support For PS4 And Xbox One Starting Next Month
2019 was a busy year for Pearl Abyss and Black Desert Online. By the end of the year, the studio had rolled out both console and mobile versions of the popular fantasy MMORPG starting with Xbox One in March, followed by PlayStation 4 in August, and mobile devices in December.
With all of that going on, Pearl Abyss also found time to work on implementing cross-play support for the console versions of the game and it’s coming sooner rather than later. In a recent press release, the studio announced that PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players will be able to play with each other starting March 4th.
Whether cross-play will extend to PC and mobile devices in the future still remains to be seen. Don’t for get to check out the official cross-play launch trailer below.
