Black Desert Online: Combine Skills With Rabam's Enlightenment; Team Battle Now Available
Kakao Games recently rolled out two new features in Black Desert Online after this week’s regularly scheduled maintenance period: Rabam’s Enlightenment and Team Battle. Players can now spice up their usual skill rotation with the new Rabam’s Enlightenment Skill Enhancement system.
“Skill Enhancement is somewhat like the awakening of the skills where you can combine a Main Weapon Skill with another Main Weapon Skill to create a newly-enhanced skill.
After Level 56 (available March 14th) and at Level 57 (available March 21st) respectively, you can combine a Main Skill (fixed) with a Sub Skill (fixed) to created a newly Skill Enhancement!
For example, a Warrior may combine the main skill "Ground Smash" with a sub skill "Ground Roar" to create the new skill, "Seismic Strike."
"Seismic Strike" is a new skill that trips and pulls in enemies to inflict very powerful damage.”
The devs have also reworked the Guild vs Guild Final Battle to make it easier for smaller guilds to challenge larger guilds. They also introduced the new Team Battle mode, a PvP mode similar to Final Battle without the need for guilds.
“Team Battle is available in the following servers: Balenos 2, Serendia 2, Calpheon 2, Mediah 2, and Valencia 2. You sign up as an individual and when 10 people in the same server has signed up, Team Battle will start automatically. The total AP + DP of each participant will decide their teams. The odd-numbered ranking participants will be in one team and the even-numbered in the other.”
