Black Desert Online PC Opens Limited-Time Underwater Sea Palace Location
Black Desert Online is taking PC players on a new deep-sea adventure with the opening of its new limited-time Sea Palace location. The grandiose underwater palace offers a plethora of new things to do, including new quests to take on, a tortoise and hare race, weekly missions, and various mini-games.
To get to the Sea Palace, all you have to do is dive off either the Ooldol Strait Cliff or the Velia Coastal Cliff. Note that you’ll have to manually initiate the dive by pressing Shift+W+Space as simply jumping off the cliff will cause you to take fall damage. Entering the Sea Palace can also destroy or kill certain mounts.
The seasonal location will only remain open until August 23rd so make sure to make the most out of your underwater trips to the palace.
In addition to the Sea Palace, this week’s PC patch also introduced two new Old Moon furniture crafting workshops, new furnishings to craft, several new hairstyles, and the ability for grouped players to simultaneously enhance their gear if they’re upgrading to the same enhancement level. The team also improved loot drops in multiple monster zones and separated the Valencia Part II questlines from the main story quests.
Pearl Abyss also kicked off multiple in-game events to mark the opening of the Sea Palace, including a new login campaign and a new Sea Palace-themed Black Spirit Board. Details can be found in the full patch notes on the Black Desert Online official site.
