Black Desert Online's Dark Elf Class And Kamasilvia Previewed

Japanese gaming media site Game Watch is reporting that Black Desert Online's Japanese publisher, Pmang, has begun previewing some the game's upcoming content updates, including the Dark Elf class and Kamasilvia. The Dark Elf will use a large sword and be able to dart around and high speeds. She will also be able to make use of dark magic in order to attack enemies from a distance.

Much like Valencia, Kamasilvia will be released in three parts. The area will contain three hunting grounds and one "special region." As you venture through Kamasilvia, you will be told the story of the conflict between two Dark Elf tribes, the Ganeru and the Vediru. Part 1 will introduce the conflict, Part 2 will show you the Ganeru's side of the conflict, and Part 3 will show you the Vediru's side of the conflict.

Tier 9 horses and a new "giant marine monster," seen below, are also planned. The new marine monster will be introduced to the game "soon" in Japan as part of an upcoming update called "The Battle of Magoria," but there is no timeframe for the rest of the updates as of yet.
