Blade And Soul Act XI Part 2 Confirmed For Release In November

The Blade and Soul narrative continues as NCSoft officially confirms their plans to release Act XI Part 2 sometime in November. The new story quests will continue the epic story of Mushin, a former general of the Naryu Empire, and will reveal the events that led to his eventual descent into darkness.

“Revenge is a strong motive. Mushin was a child born into royalty as son of the Naryu Emperor and a royal concubine, but his mother passed early in his childhood. Mushin grew up to be a righteous and honorable man. Intelligent and determined, he joined the Naryu military and rose through the ranks to become General, but his success caught the attention of his half-brothers, who were jealous and threatened by his martial prowess. To ensure the Naryu Emperor would never name Mushin as heir to the throne, the half-brothers created rumors of Mushin’s intent to take the throne by force. The ultimate betrayal happened when Mushin returned to the Naryu Court after successfully quelling the last rebellion against the Naryu Empire. The Naryu Emperor, believing the treasonous rumors, imprisoned Mushin and sentenced him to death. The darkness in Mushin grew as he had wanted nothing more than the affection and approval of his father, and now it was all for naught.

In Act XI Part 2, we learn more of Mushin’s past that has driven his despicable acts against the Four Guardians and the innocent. Old friends will return in various forms to test and guide you through the Divine Realm to confront Mushin. It’s almost time—answer Laofu’s call and return to save the Realms from collapse this November.”
