Blade And Soul Community Helps Fund Championship Prize Pool
The Blade and Soul Championship Series is looming on the horizon, and for the first time ever, North American and European players will be given the chance to participate and have a shot at winning the prize pool. A prize pool that will be funded by none other than the players themselves.
From June 28th to July 19th NCSOft will be offering two premium item sets: the Heart of the Golden Lotus Pack and the Golden Lotus Chest, the proceeds of which will go to reaching NCSoft’s $400,000 prize goal.
“The Heart of the Golden Lotus Pack* is a one-per-account bundle, containing the Speakeasy Costume set, Peacock weapon skin, and exclusive title 'Fringe Contender'. 100% of the net proceeds for this pack will be going towards the prize pool.
Open up the Golden Lotus Chest* for a chance to receive the Shadow Phoenix costume, Sacred Oils, Sealed Xanos Disks, and more. 40% of the net proceeds will be going towards the prize pool!”
Players who purchase the Heart of the Golden Lotus Pack will have a chance at scoring additional costumes as the campaign hits certain stretch goals. And, even more costumes if the $400,000 target is exceeded. Currently, the funding campaign has surpassed the initial $100,000 stretch goal, unlocking the Kill Bill-inspired Sunrise Action Hero costume which eligible players will receive at the end of the sales period.
