Blade And Soul Reveals 2020 Roadmap In The Latest Producer’s Letter

blade and soul empyrean shadows bannerNCSoft has just published a new Blade and Soul Producer’s Letter from Senior Producer Nico Coutant. The letter starts off with a look at the past year before moving on to reveal the studio’s plans for the game in 2020.

“Looking back on Year 3, we had some great updates. The Zen Archer was an extremely popular class for players to pick up; we had some big things happening as Mushin made his move in Act 10 of the epic story, and we introduced some new high-level dungeons with new and interesting mechanics. For statistics fans, we pulled a few stats you might be interested in: In 2019, players leveled up 12,718,550 times; 1,983,842 brave warriors lost their lives in PVP battles; and players completed 11,462,141 daily challenges. The most important statistic, as I think you’ll agree, is that 51,662,322 fish were caught, thanks largely in part to the introduction of auto-fishing!”

Players can also look forward to the addition of new content from March to June, including the third specialization for the Force Master. There’s also new dungeons in the works along with the epic conclusion to the current story arc with Act 11.

Coutant also says that they’re aiming to roll out the much-awaited Unreal Engine 4 update within the year and promises to step up the update cadence for events. Check out the game’s March to June 2020 development roadmap below.
