Bless Steam Early Access Begins in May, Will be Buy to Play

Neowiz games announced today that Bless will be launching sometime in the month of May and will be available for a 1 time purchase (no pricing details just yet). This comes as a bit of a surprise as Bless was always free to play in South Korea, Japan, and Russia where the game was available previously.

“It’s been a long time coming, but we truly believe the best version of Bless Online is finally almost ready to hit Steam,” said Ki Won Lee, CEO of Neowiz. “This an MMORPG unlike any other, completely re-engineered, and we can’t wait to finally open the doors and let players start their journeys.”

“We heard our players, and we’ve made our decision. We chose Buy to Play as our monetization model because we truly believe it’s the best option for our players, while making sure you don’t need to maintain a subscription to keep up with the constant stream of new content we’ll be adding to Bless.” said Sungjin Ko, Executive Producer of Neowiz Bless Studio.

Having played the Russian version of Bless in the past, I'm actually a bit excited for this one. I remember the early dungeons being fun and actually challenging. My only concern at the moment is regarding the game's performance. I remember the Russian version of the game client being extremely unoptimized and wouldn't run smoothly on my GTX 1080. Hopefully the new Steam version has this issue resolved.

    Can't wait!

  • Optoid Player

Looking forward to this but I have my doubts about its originality. Price may put me off if over £10.

You have a 1080ti and you are worried about how much it is gonna cost you haha. That's like buying a desiel 2500 ram for 50 grand and worrying about you have to buy desiel fuel.

B2P is the best model IMO. They can safely add cosmetic only cash shop and this will be fair and help the game to keep up. However there should be a trial version so people can feel the game a bit and see how it runs for them. Otherwise its a cat in a bag. Also if the price would be like ~40$ it will make a lot of people to pass on this one.

  • Augosyx

Provided they don't offer any one-sided P2W or a Cash Shop that has one, I'm all in for a B2P Bless Online.

  • GammaWolf

More like buy 2 pay. Its just another generic Korean casino crafter but with way worse combat than BDO.

  • SodaBubblies

Looks like I'm skipping this one too then.

  • TianlanSha

Depending on the price I might get Early Access, I'm too invested into ESO already so I'm not sure if I will invest into another MMORPG any time soon.

  • Zariarn

Sweet. I'm looking forward to this game.

  • Felix Berglie

I hope they dont do the same thing shitabyss did

BDO gets carried because of the eyecandy. Bless = no eye candy, shit optimization and buy to play. Meh fails in less than 6 months.

Can't wait. Played the russian version a bit and stopped because I didn't want to ruin the experience of playing the game before it hits NA. I'm Ok with B2P. I just want to play itttt

I said this on steam, my thread was deleted and the white knights defended saying the game had a remake
