Blooming Forest Is Returning To MapleStory For Its 17th Anniversary

Spring is in the air, flowers are in full bloom, and so will MapleStory when the Blooming Forest update comes out. The update will mark the side-scrolling MMORPG’s 17^th anniversary and will once again open up the Blooming Forest zone for some spring-themed fun.

“To celebrate MapleStory’s 17^th Anniversary, the spirits have brought special events to the Blooming Forest! Earn your daily limit of Blooming Coins by racing other players in the Blooming Race or leaving Legion characters to remove weeds with Legion Gardening!”

Blooming Coins earned during the event can be turned in for various cosmetic and functional rewards

Players will be able to earn Blooming Coins during the event which they can then turn in at event shops for various cosmetic and functional rewards, including powerful enhancement items, Arcane Symbols, a Fairy Heart, and the exclusive Blooming Forest Outfit and Flower Photoshoot Chair.

Players can also help save Rock Spirits from the menacing Flowering Shrubs to gain Spirit Points that can be transformed into Blooming Growth Potions and defeat weekly bosses for Wish Coins. Wish Coins can be exchanged for even more powerful items.

There’s currently no hard date on Blooming Forest’s release but since Nexon usually does update previews a week before their release, we can probably expect it to land sometime in early May. You can learn more about the upcoming update and event on the MapleStory official site.
