Excitement is building among Blue Protocol fans in Japan with less than a week until the highly awaited MMORPG launches in the country. In preparation for launch day, Bandai Namco treated fans to another developer livestream and dropped a couple of important announcements.

Firstly, players can now pre-install Blue Protocol through the Bandai Namco launcher. Before doing so, make sure that you uninstall the network test version of the MMO. Additionally, the studio confirmed that the game’s cash shop will open approximately three hours after launch, assuming that everything is stable by then.

Bandai Namco also previewed the game’s season pass content in a recent livestream. Seasons will run for roughly 50 to 60 days and will offer 100 ranks of rewards to unlock for both the free and paid tracks. Players will be able to earn points by completing quests and tasks to rank up and unlock various rewards, including costumes, in-game currencies, materials, emotes, unique Imajinn summons, and even get the next season pass for free when they reach max rank.

The livestream also unveiled the post-release content roadmap for July and August, teasing new missions, additional exploration content, standard and variant raid boss fights with distinct rewards, new areas to explore, and the introduction of a new Blitz Lancer class.

While the western release of Blue Protocol is still scheduled for next year, fans are eagerly preparing to immerse themselves in the Japanese version of the MMO.
