Following a week of early access reserved for Closed Beta players, Chronicle: RuneScape Legends has officially entered Open Beta. The Open Beta launch introduces a new playable Legend, Vanescula the Vampyre, with over 30 new cards. Another Legend, Morvran the Slayer Master, will be following in late April.

Dungeoneering is a new PvP mode that pits players against "ever increasing PvP challenges" with a drafted deck made "from a pool of 15 Card Packs." Rewards include "unique cosmetics, titles, [and] emblems" Each player will be given a single free Dungeoneering run during Open Beta.

Legend Customization has been introduced, allowing players to give their Legends a unique flair. Skilling has been introduced alongside it, giving players the ability to level skills through various actions. As skills level, they will unlock new customization options.

The game's Leaderboards are now live. There are separate Leaderboards for the Bronze, Silver, and Gold leagues.

Players will be able to battle in two new environments, The Wilderness Crater and the Barrows. These new environments bring "fire and brimstone" to the game's matches.
