Citadels Are Headed To EVE Online On April 27th

EVE Online's long-awaited Citadel expansion is launching on April 27th. The expansion will introduce player-created cities called Citadels that "make excellent trade hubs, hangar/residential quarters, and defensive stations." Various tiers of Citadel will be available, each allowing a modular form of building, tethering, and unlimited hangar space.

A number of other features will be introduced alongside Citadels, including new "structure assault mechanics" and the ability to retrieve assets from a structure that is destroyed. You can find more information on the expansion's mini-site.
