Command A Ship With Your Friends In Elite Dangerous Around April 16th
The next update for Elite Dangerous, Commanders 2.3, will go live the week ending April 16th, adding the ability to fly multi-crewed ships. Up to 3 players will assume roles aboard a vessel—or they can be passengers—where the ship's owner is automatically the pilot, and the two passengers can either be gunners or fighter cons.

2.3 also marks the introduction of avatar customization using HoloMe, moving a bunch of sliders to make the perfect you. While players can't walk around with their avatar, they will be able to use a new camera to view the entire ship: outside, inside, from the thrusters, etc.
Remember, the update will be live the week of April 16th. Will you be flying with buddies?
