Conan Exiles Teases May 8 Launch With Live Action Trailer

Funcom has been busy gearing up for the May 8th launch of their Early Access title Conan Exiles. The buy-to-play survival game has been available for purchase for PC since January 2017, but the full retail release will be the first time PlayStation 4 players will have a chance to try the game.

The Funcom team has created several videos to build up excitement for the release. One of the more interesting videos is a 30 second live action piece that highlights the crafting/building component of the game:

Conan Exiles - How Would You SURVIVE in His World?

Conan Exiles entered Early Access with a bang, surpassing 50,000 concurrent players within a month. Unfortunately, Funcom failed to fix basic networking issues that prevented more than ~20 people from playing on a server together. A year of patches later and the game is averaging ~4,000 concurrent players. The retail release will likely lead to a boost in numbers and will serve as a good excuse for Early Access players to give the game another chance. We're eager to see what Funcom has done with the game over the last year!

Conan Exiles is $29.99 on Steam, but will set you back $49.99 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A Collector's Edition is also available for console users, check out the unboxing below!
