Dark And Light Won't Be Launching On Steam Early Access This Month
I know you're all looking forward to seeing what exactly Dark and Light is and how it plays and whether it's the "next big thing" or not, but unfortunately, it's going to be at least another month or so until you're able to find out. The game will not be launching this month, as the team needs a bit more time to get the game to a state that they're happy releasing it in.
The news comes from a post on the game's Steam Community forums made by Snail Games USA Associate Producer Horsejoke. The original statement is as follows.
No Early Access launch this month - while we are still going to be developing Dark and Light throughout its time in Early Access, we want to release it in a state that we're happy with, and we need a little more time to get to that point.
The news is unfortunate, but predictable, as it is currently January 13th and there had yet to be any news about a January launch. A February launch has yet to be ruled out, though, so let's all cross our fingers and hope that we won't be waiting much longer after the month is over, yeah?
