Darkfall: New Dawn Soft-Launches, Play For Free For Three Weeks

Ub3rgames announced last week that its Darkfall Online reboot, Darkfall: New Dawn, has soft-launched. The current server is still in development, but some of players' progress on the InDev server will persist, the details of which can be found here.

The server will allow users to play for free for the first three weeks. If you're interested in seeing what New Dawn might have in store for players, now's the time to try it out. Just keep in mind that it won't quite be representative of the final version.

The first full set of patch notes was published alongside the announcement. In an effort to reduce the game's notorious grind, the team at Ub3rgames set the leveling speed to 10x. All quests now give "a minimum of 400mp." Skills that were deemed "redundant," such as Run and Sprint, have been removed. You can find the full set of patch notes here.
