Dauntless Rolls Out A New Sword Dodge Attack, Makes Juggling Chat Windows Easier

dauntless owl behemoth skraevDauntless makes sword-wielders a lot harder to hit with a new dodge attack that rolled out with the release of patch CB 0.2.4. They even get a shiny new Shrowdsaber! Phoenix Labs says that this is just the first of new movement-based attacks that they’ll be rolling out for all weapons in the near future. The Chain Blade special pull-in/flip-out attack’s invulnerability frames have also been doubled to make it more viable.

Aside from combat changes, the patch also included bug fixes and balance changes to Behemoths, along with a number of quality of life improvements. These include the ability to easily swap between chat windows, an improved end of match sequence, collision improvements, and a fix to those pesky aether wisps floating just out of reach.

Dauntless is currently in Closed Beta. If you don’t have access yet, you can purchase Founder’s Packs to get in. We’ve included the official closed beta trailer just in case you missed it. You can catch that right after the jump, or you can head over to the Dauntless official site for the full patch notes.
