DDO And LOTRO Promise Compensation After Two-Day Weekend Downtime
Dungeons and Dragons Online and Lord of the Rings Online are back in business after a two-day outage that spanned the entire weekend. To make up for the lost days, Standing Stone Games has extended ongoing events in both games with the promise of additional compensation for everyone.
LOTRO’s Spring Festival has now been extended by another week and the April Fool’s Chicken Run to early Wednesday morning. Over on DDO, daily VIP gold rolls will now be available until April 26, three days longer than originally planned.
Standing Stone also told players to be on the lookout for “something extra” as compensation for the extended downtime and possibly extra subscription time for all active subscribers. Details are promised soon.
The game worlds have reopened. We apologize for the inconvenience over the unexpected downtime. We’ll see you in game! #LOTRO
