Dead By Daylight Challenges You To Kill Your Friends Today
Starbreeze and Behaviour Digital announced today that their asymmetrical competitive horror game Dead By Daylight has officially launched. Players can now challenge their friends to escape their wrath as one of several serial killers in a 4v1 setting.

Dead by Daylight is an upcoming multiplayer (4vs1) horror game where one player takes on the role of the savage Killer, and the other four players play as Survivors, trying to escape the Killer and avoid being caught, tortured and killed.
Survivors play in third-person and have the advantage of better situational awareness. The Killer plays in first-person and is more focused on their prey.
The Survivors' goal in each encounter is to escape the Killing Ground without getting caught by the Killer - something that sounds easier than it is, especially when the environment changes every time you play.
The current version of the game has three different killers, each with a unique "signature power." There are twelve maps that are set in three locations. Various aspects of each match are procedurally generated.
Dead By Daylight is available now on Steam. It is 10% off or $17.99 for most people, but owners of PAYDAY 2 get 20% off, bringing the game down to $15.99, until July 4th. After July 4th, the game will be $19.99.
