Blizzard Outlines Known Issues And Fixes For The Ongoing Diablo 4 Open Beta
Before Blizzard kicked off its Diablo 4 open beta test this weekend, the studio warned testers that it’s going to be a bumpy ride. As it was foretold, so has it come to pass. The ongoing playtest has been plagued by long queues and various stability issues that the developers have been working to address on the fly, aside from the queues that Blizzard previously said was intentional.
In a new forum thread, the team outlines a list of known issues in the beta version of the shared world action RPG. These include disconnection and reconnection issues, voiceover glitches, and the Windows client crashing when alt-tabbing in full screen mode. They’ve since rolled out hotfixes to address the voiceover and Windows problems and will likely be updating the thread as other issues pop up throughout the weekend.
