Getting tired of pummeling demons with your Barbarian in Diablo Immortal? Why not try taking them on with the Demon Hunter’s dual crossbows or sending your Necromancer’s undead minions to do the dirty work instead? Today’s update lets players do just that by allowing them to change to a new class once every week.

The class change feature becomes available once your character hits level 35 and can be accessed by dropping by the Shifting Flames brazier located in Westmarch. The option will be available once per week with a one-time option to revert to your previous class if you change your mind. Upon changing to a new class for the first time, you’ll get replacement gear that’s roughly equivalent to the rank of your old gear. Your old gear will remain in your inventory should you decide to switch back to your previous class.

You’ll also be able to change the appearance of your character and will have your Paragon Trees fully-reset. Any Clans, Warbands, and social groups you’ve joined will carry over to the new class.

The good news is that the feature is free, and will forever be free with no plans to add microtransactions to purchase class changes more frequently.

The update also introduces new endgame content in the form of the Hero’s Journey which will automatically be unlocked when you reach the Frozen Tundra chapter of the main questline. Hero’s Journey will task you with completing objectives that increase in difficulty as you gain Paragon Levels. The new endgame challenge initially comes with four chapters, with two more planned for release in future updates. Various rewards await you upon completing a chapter, including gold, Platinum, Aspirant’s Keys, Legendary Crests, and the Glorious Journey Portrait Frame.

You’ll also be able to earn additional rewards through the Adventurer’s Path Event which will run from server reset at 3 a.m. today until August 3rd at the same time. Completing the given tasks during the event will reward you with gold, enchanted dust, and scrap materials to upgrade your gear.

The update also makes changes to weekly Warband Raids, allowing you to purchase an Eternal Legendary Crest for 1,600 Platinum upon completing a raid. A total of 36 new Legendary items have also been added to give you more damage-over-time effects to choose from.
