Diablo Immortal’s Spider-Themed Season 24 And Battle Pass Arrives On March 14
Arachnophobes, be warned! Diablo Immortal is going arachnid crazy for its 24th season, dubbed Regent of Webs. The new season officially begins on March 14 and will feature an all-new spider-themed battle pass with exclusive cosmetics up for grabs in the paid track. It doesn’t look like there’s going to be an actual fight with spiders, but I could be wrong.
“The arachnid embodies the webs it spins, complete with deceptions and lethal traps. The sinful in Sanctuary tremble before their sinister proclivities. It’s up to you to eradicate the threat, and in return this season’s Battle Pass weaves 40 ranks worth of challenges and rewards, such as Crests, Hilts, Legendary Gems, and more.”
In line with the arrival of a new battle pass, Blizzard will be boosting XP gains from battle pass levels by way of the new Infernal Hunger limited-time event. The event will run from March 20 to March 31 and will also offer various rewards for completing daily tasks.
If spiders aren’t your thing, you can also look forward to several returning events including Fractured Plane and Conqueror on March 8, Hungering Moon on March 9, Wild Brawl on March 15, Shady Stock on March 16, Survivor’s Band and Alley of Blood on March 22, and All Clans on Deck on March 23.
The season update itself lands on March 6 with several quality-of-life features and changes in tow, including a failure notification screen for Helliquary raids, the ability to break down gems, and improved search functionality for warbands and clans. The time restriction for character customization will also be reduced from seven days to one day and familiars that won’t fit in your inventory will automatically be sent to your in-game mail.
