Electronic Arts is once again purging its portfolio of older online games by the end of the year, all of which are legacy Battlefield titles. These include Battlefield 1943, Battlefield: Bad Company 1, and Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

Online support for the aforementioned games won’t end until December but they’ll be taken off the storefront as early as next month. Battlefield 1943 in particular was exclusively released as a digital download which means that you won’t be able to purchase it anywhere else legally once it’s pulled from the shelves. You’ll still be able to play offline if you already own the games, or if you buy them before they disappear for eternity.

The announcement originally included Mirror’s Edge, which can barely even be called an online game, but was taken out after EA got flak for including it in the list and the sunset announcement in general, tweeting that it was included in error and that they have no plans of pulling the game from digital storefronts.
