Elder Scrolls Online Reveals Spring-Summer Roadmap, Starts Two-Week Free Play Event
ZeniMax Online Studios outlines the new features and content coming to Elder Scrolls Online over the next few months in their Spring-Summer development roadmap. Spring features the release of the Ascending Tide DLC and Update 33 along with their associated content, both of which are now live on both the PC and console versions of the popular fantasy MMORPG.
Summer will see the release of the High Isle Chapter and Update 34 which is slated to arrive on June 6th on PC/Mac and on June 21st on the PlayStation and Xbox family of consoles. The new Chapter will open up the eponymous High Isle zone which will come with 30 hours of new story content. It will also introduce the new Tales of Tribune card game, the 12-player Dreadsail Reef Trial, the Volcanic Vents World Event, two new companions, new item sets, and more.
As for Update 34, the free base game update will add new houses, furnishing, and houseguests, along with several quality-of-life improvements updates to the quickslot wheel, armory changes, the ability to customize the title screen music, AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution support for PC, Spanish localization, and better accessibility features.
The team will be dropping more information on the upcoming Chapter in the High Isle preview livestream scheduled for later today at 1:00pm PDT.
Meanwhile, ZeniMax has kicked off another Free Play event which will run until 7:00am PDT on April 26th on all platforms including Stadia. The event will include access to the base game and the Morrowind DLC, which was recently made free, as well as the prologue questline for the upcoming High Isle chapter.
The base game and the Blackwood DLC is also being offered at a discount until the end of the Free Play event. Details can be found on the Elder Scrolls Online official site.
