Elder Scrolls Online kicks off the year-long Legacy of the Bretons narrative with the official launch of the Ascending Tide DLC. The DLC is now live on PC, Mac, and Google Stadia with two new dungeons – Coral Aerie and Shipwright’s Regret – that sets the stage for the High Isle Chapter release in June.

“The new DLC opens with a daring rescue of Jakarn from the mysterious Ascendant Order. Players will partner with Captain Kaleen for a heroic raid of the Coral Aerie, but they must be on the lookout for dark forces threatening the Breton people. The Coral Aerie is a beautiful yet treacherous location, a perfect taste of the visuals to come in 2022.

Players can also discover an abandoned, haunted shipyard known as Shipwright’s Regret. Said to be the largest fleet in Tamriel’s history, the legendary All Flags Navy is found in wreckage where lurking undead foes now call the ruins home. There will be plenty of new and exciting challenges, secrets, and loot for players to experience in our latest DLC.”

The Ascending Tide DLC also comes with a free base game update that introduces account-wide achievements for the first time in the long-standing MMORPG. Some Achievements, however, will continue to be tracked for each individual character, these include:

  • Museum Quest Achievements
  • Enchanting Rune knowledge Achievements
  • Motif Crafting Knowledge
  • Lorebooks read, including in Eidetic Memory and Shalidor’s Library
  • Skyshards
  • Public Dungeon Group Event Achievements
  • Dragonguard Sanctum Daily Achievements

Undaunted skill line progression has also been rebalanced to account for the changes brought by the new account-wide achievements system. Undaunted reputation can now be earned by completing quests in instanced dungeons. The reputation gained from completing Undaunted daily quests has also been increased.

Players also expect to see new PvP item sets, new outfit styles, new furnishings, and more. The full patch notes can be found on the Elder Scrolls Online official forums.

The Ascending Tide DLC is can be purchased from the Crown Store for 1500 Crowns and is now available for free for all ESO Plus subscribers. Console launch is scheduled for March 29th.
