Those of us that would rather remain on The Elder Scrolls Online's live servers have had to watch in envy for some time now as players on the Public Test Server bought a Homestead and adorned it with all sorts of decorations before we could. Soon, however, the wait will be over and everyone will be able to purchase a Homestead. Zenimax Online Studios announced on Wednesday that Homesteads will be going live on PC on February 6th. Unfortunately, console users will have to wait just a bit longer, as their versions of the game will not receive the Homestead update until February 21st.

When the Homestead update does live, "39 uniquely-themed homes" throughout the world of Tamriel will be made available. There will be 2000 decorative items, including furniture, as well as the option to craft your own furnishings. The update will also introduce "Master Crafting Writs," an additional four Motifs, "an update to PvP itemization" and balance changes for "all classes and skills.
