Elyon (Ascent: Infinite Realm) To Start Korean Beta Test In July
Last month, Kakao Games, the western publisher for the steampunk MMORPG Ascent: Infinite Realm, revealed that they had changed the game’s title to Elyon following major changes to the its gameplay and overall theme. According to the publisher, the new name better reflected the game’s new fantasy action MMORPG design.
Since then, Kakao Games and Korean publisher Daum Games have been relatively quiet about the state of the game but that doesn’t mean that work isn’t being done on the game. According to MMOCulture, developer Krafton recently announced their plans to hold a “massive” beta test in South Korean on July 25th. Registrations for the beta test will kick off in June. There’s still no word on when western players can expect the game but at least we’ll get to take a look at the new game’s design once the beta starts.
